Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Tanzania Sunset Camps website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Booking and Reservations

When you make a booking with Tanzania Sunset Camps:

• All bookings are subject to availability
• A deposit is required to confirm your reservation
• Full payment is due as specified in your booking confirmation
• Prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion

Payment Terms

Payment for safari packages and accommodations:

• Deposit: 30% of total cost due at time of booking
• Balance: Due 60 days prior to departure
• Late bookings (within 60 days): Full payment required
• Accepted payment methods will be specified in your booking confirmation

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:

• More than 90 days before departure: 10% of total cost
• 60-90 days before departure: 30% of total cost
• 30-59 days before departure: 50% of total cost
• Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Changes to Bookings

Changes to confirmed bookings may be possible subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We will make every effort to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee changes will be possible.

Travel Documents

It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid passports, visas, and any required vaccinations or health certificates. We are not responsible for any costs incurred due to invalid or incomplete travel documents.

Health and Safety

Safari activities involve inherent risks. By booking with us, you acknowledge that:

• You are in good health and able to participate in safari activities
• You will follow all safety instructions provided by guides and camp staff
• You understand that wildlife viewing involves unpredictable animals
• You have adequate travel and medical insurance

Liability

Tanzania Sunset Camps acts as an agent for various service providers including camps, lodges, airlines, and activity operators. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by these third-party providers or by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, or flight cancellations.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemic, pandemic, or government restrictions.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Tanzania Sunset Camps or our partners and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Complaints

If you have any issues during your safari, please inform our staff immediately so we can attempt to resolve the matter. Written complaints should be submitted within 30 days of your return.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website.
